The City of Crystal Falls is a 20 minute drive from R Cabins with shops and activities indoor and out. 

City Falls hosts events like the annual Bass Run Festival in July and the Quilt Fall Festival in October. 

Escanaba is a classic Yooper city a little over an hour away from R Cabins with events and festivals happening all year round.

Iron Mountain is 25 miles/30 minutes South of R Cabins with Farmer's Markets,  community events and annual festivals.

Marquette is a large city settled on Lake Superior about 1 hour/53 miles from R Cabins with events happening all around the city throughout the year.
